Founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Stanford University, Google organizes the world's information. Its primary four-color palette deliberately places a secondary green "L" among primary blue, red, and yellow letters.
Logo Meaning
Ruth Kedar originally selected primary colors (blue, red, yellow) but inserted a secondary color (green) on the letter "l" to symbolize that Google does not simply follow conventional rules. In 2015, Google transitioned to a custom geometric sans-serif typeface called Product Sans.
